ABOUT ME
WHY SHOULD YOU KNOW TORSTEN?
THIS IS WHY.
Grey beard? Check. Bald head? Check. Ideas overflowing? Double check
From design concepts and campaigns to images, videos, typography, slogans, copywriting, and full-on brand strategy – my work has one thing above all: recognizability.
You’re going to love this guy. Wild, unconventional, and unapologetically modern.
This creative whirlwind spits out his best ideas to the rhythm of rock songs blasting from an office decorated with a deer head and a Banksy on the wall. Fan of Nietzsche, sports, culture… and a damn good cup of coffee.
What you get: A loyal teammate, visionary, and all-around brilliant mind
Confident on stage, inspiring in presence, leading teams, and delivering fresh ideas that hit like an espresso shot.
A wordsmith, concept genius, and a never-ending fountain of creativity with a hands-on mindset.
Favorite book? Don Quixote
Hunting giants, calling them windmills – that’s how legends are born.
The most modern, timeless fairy tale ever written. A manifesto for everyone who’d rather take on the impossible than settle for the mediocre. Don Quixote teaches me daily: Reality is negotiable – and if you’ve stopped seeing windmills, you’ve already lost.
Great literature. Greater mindset booster. Proof that “madness” is often just another word for vision.
Who shaped me as a designer?
Otl Aicher.
Not just for his timeless designs for PUMA, Braun, Lufthansa, Sparkasse, or the legendary 1972 Munich Olympics.
But because he merged design with principles.
He was a resistance fighter against the Nazi regime – a man with a backbone, working not just with shapes but with values.
Aicher was more than a designer – he was a systems thinker.
He invented the modern wayfinding system, created the world-famous Olympic pictograms, and set visual standards with his E5 group that remain unmatched to this day.
And the cherry on top? He came from my home turf, the Allgäu, and gave the world not only the Rotis typeface but a full-blown design philosophy.
Aicher didn’t just design – he defined. Me. The industry. The world.

Team player and team leader
American Football in the veins: Long-time player for the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, multiple-time German champion, and national team player with the biggest career highlight – the European Championship. On the field: Focus, fire, leadership. In the team: Drive, support, and that “let’s go” energy.
Mentor. Maker. Enabler
Torsten is not just a leader – he’s a career smith.
He’s boosted start-ups, inspired students, and shaped talents who now play at the top level.
Still does.
As a volunteer mentor and jury member at the Youth Entrepreneurship Week by Austrian Startups.
Where young ideas ignite, he’s there – with know-how, attitude, and the push to the next level.
Animal lover
Always on the road with his pack: Cube, the sharp-witted Husky, and Daphne, the charming mixed-breed lady. Together, an unbeatable duo – whether in the snow or in the fields.
Sports fan
Cheering for St. Pauli on TV, roaring for Rapid Vienna in the stadium. And when Austria’s national team plays at Ernst Happel Stadium – you’ll find him right there in the action.
Active like no other
Paddle tennis, snowboarding, or long walks with the dogs – Torsten lives movement, adventure, and action every minute he can. But it’s not just about adrenaline – he thrives on the warmth of family and friends.
Always ahead of his time
In 1998, he brought Deutsche Telekom online.
Augmented Reality? Not a buzzword for him – years ago, it was already a real project for Continental.
Torsten thinks ahead. Sets the standard.
Simply the Best
Want to experience Torsten live? The best way: Just meet him in person.
